WinkMartindale.org – Responsive Design & WordPress Management

From March 2016 to July 2022, I managed the comprehensive website redesign and ongoing SEO management for the official online presence of legendary game show host Wink Martindale. The project’s main objective was to create a modern, professional, and user-friendly website that could serve as a central hub for his career history and public appearances. The project required a deep understanding of WordPress, responsive design principles, and long-term search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure the site’s long-term success and digital relevance. The results of this work can be measured by reviewing the website’s performance and search rankings over the six-year period, which would reveal a steady increase in organic traffic and improved search visibility for key terms.

• Responsive WordPress Design & Implementation – I designed and built a brand-new, mobile-friendly website using the WordPress platform. This responsive WordPress design ensured a seamless and consistent user experience across all devices, from desktop computers to smartphones, making the site more accessible to fans and media professionals alike.
• SEO Management – I performed continuous SEO management, which involved optimizing content for search engines, improving internal linking structures, and implementing best practices to maintain high search rankings. This sustained effort was crucial for keeping the website at the top of search results for important keywords related to Wink Martindale’s career.
• Content and Media Management – Throughout the project, I was responsible for uploading and organizing a vast archive of content, including his filmography, biography, photos, and video clips. This involved ensuring all media was properly formatted and optimized for both web performance and search engine visibility. This also included the integration of external content to expand the site’s reach.

This long-term engagement began with a full-scale website redesign in early 2016, where I created a secure, reliable, and visually appealing digital home for one of entertainment’s most recognizable figures. Following the successful launch, the focus shifted to ongoing maintenance and SEO management. Over the next six years, my work consistently improved the site’s search engine performance and user experience. The strategic application of SEO management principles, combined with regular content updates, allowed the website to serve as an authoritative source of information.
