PROJECT SPECIFICS

COMPANY NAME:  EZ Spanner
WORK COMPLETED:  Responsive WordPress Design & Complete SEO
PROJECT TIMELINE:  February 2017 – September 2018

Key Achievements

From February 2017 to September 2018, I served as the lead responsive website designer and SEO specialist for EZSpanner.com, a company specializing in tools for the construction industry. The primary objective of this project was to develop a fully responsive WordPress website that was not only user-friendly but also highly optimized for search engines to significantly enhance EZ Spanner’s digital presence and drive business growth. The project required a deep understanding of both aesthetics and technical SEO to create an effective and durable online platform that would stand out in a competitive market. This effort was a key example of how a strategic approach to responsive WordPress design can transform a company’s online visibility and customer engagement.

The project had four key objectives that were central to its success:

The project timeline was meticulously planned and executed from February 2017 to September 2018. The initial phase, from February to May 2017, was dedicated to discovery and planning. I worked closely with the client to understand their brand, target audience, and business goals. This led to the creation of a detailed sitemap and wireframes, which served as the foundation for the new website. The second phase, from June 2017 to March 2018, was the main development period. This involved building a custom WordPress theme from the ground up, with a heavy emphasis on a fluid, responsive WordPress design framework. Concurrently, I began implementing the initial SEO strategy, optimizing page titles, meta descriptions, and image alt tags, as well as setting up Google Analytics and Google Search Console. From April to August 2018, I focused on populating the website with content, including product descriptions and blog posts, and performed rigorous quality assurance testing to ensure the site was fast, secure, and bug-free. The final month of the project, September 2018, was spent on final client review, minor adjustments, and the official launch. My work on this project is a prime example of the effectiveness of a holistic approach to search engine optimization, which combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of user behavior to deliver tangible results.
