In late 2023, two of my long-time friends from high school found an e-commerce-based Shopify website, selling various types of coffee, both whole bean and ground, listed “for sale” at a very competitive price. In December 2023, the three of us decided to purchase the recently built Shopify website and company as a partnership, which we continued to market and build a customer base until October 2024, when we sold the business for a profit.
